Brochureware websites
Often called “Static websites” brochureware websites are basically an on-line version of the old printed company brochure. Brochureware websites can incorporate all types of new media like streaming video, flash animation and audio files. These websites would include information about the organisation, services and contact details.  More info...
Brochureware websites are the most economical choice if you are only updating your website once or twice a year.
Dynamic websites
Dynamic websites or “Database websites” contain web pages that are generated in real-time. These pages include web scripting code, such as PHP or ASP which pull the information from a database. When a dynamic page is accessed, the code within the page is parsed on the web server, and the resulting HTML page is sent to the client's Web browser to be viewed.  More info...
Most large websites are dynamic, since they are easier to update than brochureware (Static) websites. This is because static pages each contain unique content, meaning they must be manually opened, edited, and published whenever a change is made.
Dynamic pages, on the other hand, access information from a database. Therefore, to alter the content of a dynamic page, the webdesigner or client may only need to update a database record. This is especially helpful for large sites that contain hundreds or thousands of pages. It also makes it possible for multiple users to update the content of a website without editing the layout of the pages.
Dynamic websites can be updated by the client with the inclusion of a CMS – Client Management System.

Available on database driven websites only. The website consists of two parts; the Front end – the part that the audience sees, and the Backend (CMS) – a secure area which the web designer or client would access pages to update the information on the database and add images.  More info...
E-Commerce website
E-Commerce website also referred to as “on-line stores” and “shopping carts”. The concept of e-commerce is all about using the Internet to do business better and faster. It is about giving customers the ability to shop from home or office to buy merchandise (books, clothing, tools, appliances etc.), downloads (software, documents, graphics, music, videos etc.) and do business-to-business transactions (placing orders).
Ideograph’s E-commerce websites are SQL database driven with a CMS section so clients can maintain their own websites. The e-commerce website includes full shopping cart functions, payment options like credit card, EFT and cheque payments, stock control, invoicing, order tracking, sales figures and freight calculations, in fact everything you need to run a complete on-line business so that all you have to do is wait for the payment to hit your bank account and then ship the merchandise.
